#ChantForOzil Goes Horribly Wrong for Arsenal, Mesut Ozil

In a show of effort to pick up their rattled playmaker's confidence, Twitter users started using the #ChantForOzil hashtag in hopes that he'd be warmly received during Arsenal's Premier League match against Sunderland at the Emirates.

Problem was, when the team sheets were released, Ozil wasn't even in the squad.

Oops. Unsurprisingly, Arsenal's rivals were quick to jump on the failed hashtag.
