Manchester City Fans Should Be More Optimistic, Less Pessimistic
I have noticed some City fans are talking about the negatives of being Manchester City so I would like to talk about them also.
Question: Will other players want to come to City after seeing Gareth Barry witch hunted and branded greedy?
Answer: Sure they will, the ones with balls anyhow. Football is not just a game to footballers, it is their livelihood, a job.

Question: Will it cause unrest when the current City squad see more and more stars join City when comparing wage and will losing their first eleven place cause a problem?
Answer: Possibly some yes, but if they lose their starting place then they have to up their game, if not and if they are not content with just playing a bit part then they will move on and someone better will replace them. If they are not happy then they should leave.
Question: Will we end up like Chelsea and spend truck loads of money and fail only to change managers and throw more money away?
Answer: Difference between us and Chelsea is, we have an extremely productive academy to back us up, their production line stopped at Terry and Lampard, they even pumped excess money into buying youth talent and we still have an extreme amount of talent coming through the ranks.
No disrespect to Chelsea as I am well aware that they were already a Champions League club but let's just say they never really had much competition seeing as only four clubs were ever in the top four shouting anyway,
Before being purchased by the Russian their academy was none existent when talking about big talent. In my opinion the foundation was slippery.
We also have owners with limitless finance whereas Chelsea's owner has a limit.
Also Hughes is showing we wont be held to ransom so we probably wont be seeing a bigger signing than Robinho, quality signing sure like Eto'o or Tevez possibly but not record breaking. As well as that Hughes is proving to be quite the transfer whizz with Barry, Given & De Jong.
Question: Will great players join City and believe in the City revolution project?
Answer: Well Gareth Barry has, De Jong, Shay Given, and Robinho have so why should they stop there?
Question: What if we are continuously bombarded by bad press and continuously attacked by other clubs? What would this do to our overall image, 'could our billions cause us more harm than good?'
Answer: All clubs get bad press at some point, it's how our club deals with it that matters, as for being attacked by other clubs? Well I pretty much don't care and neither should you, as long as our club don't break any rules and does everything by the book we will be fine.
As far as our image goes as a club and fan base, well that all depends on us and our club.
Question: What about all the abuse our club and fans are getting, what is that doing to our club profile?
Answer: Nothing what so ever is my answer, most are either, jealous, bitter, envious or upset. You should not care what they think, lose no sleep and inhale the blue rays of the moon.
Question: Do us City fans have the right to feel optimistic, excited and energised, do we deserve some sporting happiness?
Answer: Damn right we do and if I want to believe we can break the top four then I will and I don't care what anyone thinks.
