Lukas Podolski Would Rather Retire Than Play for Tottenham

Lukas Podolski has already done plenty to endear himself to Arsenal supporters since joining the north London outfit from Cologne in 2012. 

But a simple question posed to him by a Twitter user instantly morphed him into legend status...at least on the red half of north London. 

Presumed Arsenal fan @whosuspendedme posed Podolski a hypothetical: If he had to choose between retirement or joining Tottenham, what would he do?

It's been quite the day for the German international. In the afternoon, he meets NBA coach Jason Kidd. In the evening, he tosses fuel on the flames of an already burning rivalry.
