Nicklas Bendtner Tweets 'I Will Rule the Box', Twitter Responds Accordingly
It's certainly been a banner week for Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner. And the injured Dane hasn't even seen the pitch!
First, he was trolled both by Wikepedia jokesters and by teammate Emmanuel Frimpong during the Ballon d'Or ceremony, now a harmless tweet has made him the wrong end of Twitter jokes.
All he did was tweet this harmless "I Will Rule The Box" tweet.
"I will rule the box Just do it #Nike pic.twitter.com/B9V9sERjmX
— Nicklas Bendtner (@bendtnerb52) January 15, 2014"
And to the surprise of no one, Twitter users jumped at the opportunity to scoff and laugh at Bendtner's tweet.
"Rule it like this? http://t.co/UHhFYlt3af “@bendtnerb52: I will rule the box Just do it #Nike pic.twitter.com/xigXPUAn1Q”
— matthew weiner (@mattweiner) January 15, 2014"
"This is a joke right? “@bendtnerb52: I will rule the box Just do it #Nike pic.twitter.com/xigXPUAn1Q”

"Maybe the only thing you would rule in the box is your hair. @bendtnerb52

"@dylanparks doesn't he have to be in the box, in order to "rule it"...maybe it only runs in Denmark? cc: @justmadhu @sunghu @znh
