Transfer Rumour Rater: Nemanja Matic to Borussia Dortmund in the January Window
Serbia's Nemanja Matic has come a long way from Chelsea's reserves, and now reportedly has two of the continent's elite clubs chasing after him.
According to the Daily Mirror's John Cross, the midfielder is a target for both Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, who don't appear to be put off by the £20m price tag which Matic's club Benfica have put on his head.
The 25-year-old played just two league games for Chelsea after joining for around £1.5m from MFK Kosice in 2009, and he was moved on to Benfica as part of the deal that brought defender David Luiz to Stamford Bridge in January 2011.

He has since shone in Lisbon, and was a key part of the team that reached last season's Europa League final, where Matic suffered defeat at the hands of his former employers Chelsea.
Better news arrived when he won the Primeira Liga player of the year award for 2012/13, and form like that has alerted the attention of both Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, with the latter tipped to launch a strong bid for his services in January.
As seen with their move for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Dortmund can certainly pick out a top midfield player, and with some of their Champions League final squad perhaps set to depart the club over the next year, a move for Matic could well prove to be a shrewd one.
