BCS Standings 2013 Week 15: Full Rankings Heading into Conference Championships
With another wild week down, the BCS rankings for Week 15 have changed quite a bit, but don't think that they'll stay the same after the conference championship games are done.
Of course, the biggest game of the week was Auburn pulling off an epic win over Alabama, returning that missed field goal for a touchdown to end the game. There were some other thrilling games as well, including Ohio State's narrow escape against Michigan, that made this week's BCS release so much more interesting.

As expected, the Florida State Seminoles were able to take the No. 1 spot on the rankings after Alabama's loss. They're undefeated and have blown out some top-tier opponents, making them worthy of that spot. According to ESPN Stats & Info, this is the first time the Seminoles were ranked No. 1 since 1999, when they won the national championship.
Of course, everyone was talking about whether Auburn or Ohio State would take the No. 2 spot, and the debate was certainly a heated one. However, the Buckeyes were able to squeeze past the Tigers for that honor.
The Buckeyes haven't lost a game over the past two seasons, but they're certainly not a lock for the BCS National Championship game yet. They'll be playing the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans in the Big Ten championship, and they're allowing just 11.8 points per game.
The Tigers are No. 3, but just like the Buckeyes, they face a very tough test in the No. 5 Missouri Tigers next. The argument has been made that the winner of that game should be able go to the title game, but even if they don't, the winner will be a lock for the Sugar Bowl.
One of the other big questions was how far the Crimson Tide would fall, but they just went to No. 4. They could still play in a BCS bowl game like the Sugar Bowl or Orange Bowl, but we will have to see how the conference championship games play out.
One of the most overlooked stories is the fact that Northern Illinois holds on to the No. 14 spot. Since they're one of the top 14 teams, they are eligible as a non-automatic qualifier for a BCS bowl game, which is huge for the Huskies coming out of the MAC.
Aside from those big storylines, there were few major shakeups in the rankings. However, you can expect these teams to be in completely different situations following the conference championship games, as a numbers of top-tier programs will be going down.
