Bayer Leverkusen vs. Manchester United
David Moyes' Manchester United face the toughest test they're likely to come up against in this season's group stage, a trip to the BayArena being the most worrying of their pool matches.
Bayer Leverkusen are the Red Devils' closest competition to emerge at the top of Group A and a victory for the English titans on Wednesday would assure the club of a place in the knockout stages.
Sami Hyypia's men would leapfrog United if they were to earn three points this week, giving the German giants—currently sitting second in the Bundesliga—plenty of motivation for the win.
Furthermore, defeat for United would leave them facing a nervy final encounter with Shakhtar Donetsk in Matchday 6.
United showed at Old Trafford in September they're capable of overcoming the Factory Squad, but Leverkusen have jelled even more as a team since then and will be an equal match for their visitors.
Prediction: Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 Manchester United
Juventus vs. Copenhagen
Two months ago, Juventus may not have thought they'd be jostling with Copenhagen to scrape their way from the bottom of Group B at this stage of the campaign.
Alas, heading into the penultimate round of games, that's exactly the case and although Antonio Conte's men have scored more and conceded less than their Danish counterparts, they remain a point below them at the bottom of their pool.
Assuming Galatasaray get nothing out of their trip to Real Madrid, the winner of Turin's Wednesday encounter can move into second place behind the Spanish leaders.
Scoring goals has been Copenhagen's main issue this European campaign, the club yet to net more than one goal in any of their four Champions League outings thus far.
Juve have scored twice in each of their home games and will hope that an edge in attacking quality will ensure they can do better than the draw managed in Denmark in September.
Prediction: Juventus 3-1 Copenhagen
Shakhtar Donetsk vs. Real Sociedad
Should Real Sociedad grab anything less than a win from their trip to Ukraine this week then they can count their European campaign over after amassing just one point in their first four games.
Meanwhile, Shakhtar Donetsk's hopes of advancing look far more likely and another win could put them into Group A's second place, depending on the result between Leverkusen and United.
Mircea Lucescu's side should have been able to make use of their home legs this year, but have drawn both of their Donbass Arena fixtures already and are likely to make it three in a row.
Prediction: Shakhtar Donetsk 1-1 Real Sociedad
