Winners: Manchester City

Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium this summer, Manuel Pellegrini has done nothing if not preserve his club's indomitable record when playing at home, a trend that's set to continue for now.

Swansea City are actually one of the English top flight's more impressive outfits when playing away from home, but it doesn't help that Michael Laudrup's side haven't kept a clean sheet for a month.

That kind of leaky defensive work will do them no good when up against the free-scoring ranks of Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo, the former of whom now leads the Premier League goal charts after grabbing a brace in the 6-0 thrashing of Spurs over the weekend.

So far this season, 26 of the Citizens' 34 league goals have been scored on home turf, where they've been nothing short of scary at times.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Swansea City

Losers: Hull City

Hull City's home loss at the hands of Crystal Palace this weekend was far from the result that Steve Bruce will have been expecting from his side, but things aren't set to improve anytime soon.

The visit of Liverpool this weekend promises to lump further embarrassment on the Tigers, who actually happen to have the best home defence in the English top flight, conceding an average of just 0.33 goals per game thus far.

However, that record has mostly been built on results against bottom-half sides, and the Reds will be by far the toughest opposition to have graced the KC Stadium this term.

Brendan Rodgers' side have scored seven goals in their last two games and will be as eager as ever to get back on the winning trail after drawing at Goodison Park, spelling out bad things for promoted Hull.

Prediction: Hull City 0-3 Liverpool

Winners: Everton

The Toffees will be out to send a message of their own after the Merseyside derby, and they play host to Stoke City this coming weekend, a side whose away form hasn't been terrific, conceding 11 goals.

Under Mark Hughes, the Potters are showing an ability to expand their game and move past their defensive habits under Tony Pulis. Peter Crouch was in particularly creative mood in their last outing and, as a former Liverpool player, he will want to inflict misery on the Blues.

However, Stoke's less physical approach should play into Roberto Martinez's hands as he'll once more look to unleash Romelu Lukaku on the opposition, the Belgian bruiser having recently scored a well-taken brace against Liverpool.

Prediction: Everton 2-0 Stoke City
