BCS Rankings 2013: Teams That Will Make Biggest Jumps in Top 25 with Wins
In order to earn some respect in the BCS rankings, college football squads must beat top-tier opponents. This week presents the opportunity for some lower-ranked teams to jump up in the rankings with a win over their higher-ranked opponents.
Three Top 25 teams will have a chance to accomplish such a feat this week.
No. 17 Arizona State will hit the road to take on No. 14 UCLA while No. 10 Oklahoma State will be home against No. 4 Baylor and No. 24 Ole Miss will host No. 8 Missouri.
Let's break down each matchup and find out why the three lower-ranked teams will move up in the rankings with a win.

Arizona State at UCLA
At 8-2, Arizona State is enjoying a great season in 2013, having already matched its win total from a season ago. In Week 13, a matchup with the Bruins will give the Sun Devils a great chance to move up in the rankings.
The Bruins are quite the formidable foe with one of the finer defenses in college football (No. 41 in points allowed) and a top-notch quarterback in Brett Hundley.
Among their wins this season, the Bruins have beaten a formerly ranked Nebraska squad. UCLA's only two losses have come against such elite squads as Stanford and Oregon, which shouldn't be held against the Sun Devils that much.
If Arizona State can emerge victorious on Saturday, it will be the third ranked team that the Sun Devils have topped this season. Considering that UCLA is the higher-ranked team and is at home, and it's inevitable that Arizona State will move up in the rankings with a win.
Oklahoma State vs. Baylor
The Cowboys already have a stellar resume going into their game with the Bears. Oklahoma State has won twice in three weeks over a couple of ranked opponents in Texas Tech and Texas.
Now comes Baylor, who is one of the best teams in the nation, as evidenced by its No. 4 ranking. The Bears are undefeated and rank among the nation's top 10 in passing yards (No. 3), rushing yards (No. 9), points (No. 1) and points allowed (No. 7).
Granted, Baylor has only beaten one ranked team this season, but that was against Oklahoma in a 41-12 beatdown.
Beating a higher-ranked, undefeated team will always garner more respect for the lower-ranked squad, but seeing as how Baylor is a Top Five team, that should give Oklahoma State a huge shot in the arm and a step in the right direction toward the top spot.
Ole Miss vs. Missouri
A home game for the Rebels against a Top 10 team like the Tigers presents a great opportunity for the No. 24 Rebels to improve their ranking after Week 13.
Two of the Rebels' three losses have come against such top teams in college football as Alabama and Texas A&M, but a win over the former No. 6 team in the nation, LSU, earned Ole Miss some serious respect.
Missouri is one of the better two-way teams in the nation, ranking No. 12 in points scored and No. 20 in points allowed.
The Tigers have lost just once, falling to South Carolina in a game that took two overtimes to decide. Other than that, the Tigers have been perfect and knocked off two ranked squads in Georgia and Florida on successive weeks earlier in the season.
Those two wins have enabled Missouri to become a Top 10 team and creates a difficult matchup for Ole Miss. However, if the Rebels can pull it off and escape with a win, look for the Rebels to break into the Top 20.
