With just three weeks of regular-season action left on tap, the final BCS picture is starting to become much clearer heading into Week 13.

Let’s take a look at the latest BCS rankings and recap the top highlights from the past week.

Alabama remained on top with a win over Mississippi State, taking care of business during a 20-7 victory. It wasn't always pretty, as 'Bama turned the ball over four times and was just 4-of-12 on third downs, but it did enough to squeeze out a win. The Crimson Tide have just Chattanooga and the Iron Bowl standing between them and another national championship appearance.

Florida State remains poised to challenge 'Bama, as the No. 2 Seminoles rolled to a lopsided win over Syracuse on Saturday. Barring a collapse against Idaho or Florida to finish the campaign, FSU is likely going to be playing for the crystal trophy.

Ohio State continued its undefeated streak—which began at the start of the 2012 campaign—by knocking off Illinois. The No. 3 Buckeyes have to hope that FSU or Alabama falls and that they can remain undefeated in order to get a crack at the title.

Stanford's loss was the story of the week, though, as it fell to USC on the road. The Trojans were able to get the edge on a last-second field goal and sent the former-No. 4 Cardinal spiraling down the polls to No. 9. The loss marks Stanford's second blemish on the year after it previously fell to Utah on Oct. 12.

Meanwhile, Baylor capitalized on Stanford's slip-up. The No. 4 Bears took care of business against Texas Tech at home. Bryce Petty proved he's a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate with a five-touchdown outing against the Red Raiders.

Auburn was lucky to avoid slipping to Georgia in what was a thrilling finish. The Tigers needed a miracle Hail Mary pass to oust former-No. 25 Georgia. This sets up an intriguing Iron Bowl to end the season, as Auburn has a bye next weekend before hosting the Crimson Tide on Nov. 30.

Oklahoma State continues its ascent up the rankings after the No. 10 Pokes downed Texas. It was the Longhorns' first Big 12 loss of 2013.

Miami's loss to unranked Duke may have been the most embarrassing of the week. Consequently, the Hurricanes have fallen out of the rankings, likely for good.

No. 24 Mississippi and No. 25 Minnesota are the new additions to this week's poll.

While this week was quite exciting, next week promises to be even better. There are a handful of marquee matchups on tap that will drastically impact the BCS rankings, and you won’t want to miss a minute.
