BCS Rankings 2013: Full Rundown of Where Every Team Stands for Week 13
A week after a seismic shift in the BCS rankings, there was even more change at the top in Week 13 thanks to a few surprising results.
Stanford showed in Week 11 that it was capable of beating anyone in the country with a win over Oregon. However, the Cardinal followed that up with a 20-17 loss on the road to USC in Week 12.
This game and others led to some changes in the most recent polls. Here is a look at the latest standings after the weekend's games:

USC's win over Stanford was clearly the biggest result of the week as many were just putting the Cardinal back in the title discussion. However, the Trojans fought hard at home behind interim head coach Ed Orgeron, who took over midseason for Lane Kiffin and has impressed ever since.
Quarterback Cody Kessler had this to say about his coach, via USCTrojans.com:
"I think Coach O is very unique. There's no one else in the country that's like him that I've seen. We absolutely love him. We'd run through a brick wall for him. He has that look in his eye that you can tell that when he talks to you he really does care. I gave him a hug after the game and I don't know if he'd want me saying this but I saw his eyes water up. It's awesome when you play with someone who has that same passion.
"
With this type of endorsement from a quarterback and the success already shown on the field, Orgeron has made himself a top candidate for the full-time coaching position.
Still, this upset win was not the only notable game of the week. After beating LSU in its last game, things did not get easier this week for No. 1 Alabama. The Tide gave up four turnovers and escaped with a 20-7 victory against Mississippi State.
They have only one challenge remaining on the regular-season schedule: a road game against No. 6 Auburn on Nov. 30.
The Tigers would love nothing more than to ruin their rival's perfect season, but they had their hands full on Saturday with Georgia after blowing a 20-point lead late in the game. Nick Marshall and Co. needed a miraculous play in the final minute to avoid the upset.
Meanwhile, No. 2 Florida State can also look ahead to a rival as the squad faces a depleted Florida team at the end of the year. The Seminoles completed the ACC season with a 59-3 win over Syracuse to move to 8-0, and they will face Idaho next week.
As long as the Seminoles continue to win, they should find themselves playing for the BCS National Championship.
Of course, there are plenty of other teams looking to climb into the top two spots by the end of the year. No. 3 Ohio State continued its assault on the Big Ten with an impressive 60-35 victory over Illinois. Then again, that was the 20th conference loss in a row for the Illini.
No. 4 Baylor also remained undefeated with a 63-34 win over Texas Tech, which has now lost four in a row since starting 7-0. The Bears once again showcased an incredible display of offense as they continued to be the top scoring team in the country.
While these undefeated programs did their best to try to move up the standings, a few one-loss teams remained in the title hunt as well. This group includes No. 5 Oregon, No. 7 Clemson and No. 10 Oklahoma State, all of who took care of business this weekend.
Additionally, No. 16 Northern Illinois remained alive for a bid to a BCS bowl thanks to a 48-27 victory over Ball State on Wednesday. The Huskies moved to 10-0 on the year and continue to play the role of BCS busters, along with the idle No. 15 Fresno State.
Fans should also keep an eye on No. 18 UCF, which moved to 8-1 on the year with a narrow win over Temple. The Knights already have a win over Louisville and are looking to secure a championship in the new American Athletic Conference.
Although No. 9 Stanford represented the only significant change to the overall standings, there are still plenty of chances for the top teams to slip up in the coming weeks. This season is far from over, and nothing should be taken for granted as we head toward the year's final stretch.
