Report: The Miz Turns Heel at House Show
After a year-long run as a babyface, it looks like Mike "The Miz" Mizanin has turned back heel.
As WrestleZone notes, prior to taking on Kofi Kingston at WWE's first show of its European tour, The Miz cut an insulting promo on the Belfast crowd:
"The Miz seems to be teasing a character change. At WWE's live event in Belfast, Ireland, The Miz cut a heel promo before his match against Kofi Kingston. It's unknown at this time if this is just for the local international crowd or if this is a sign of a heel turn on television in the future. It should be noted that in recent media interviews Miz has been in character and upset about things that have happened to him on television. We'll give you more updates from the international tour as they come in.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
On paper, this move makes a great deal of sense.
The Miz has surely gone as far as he can as a babyface in the company. How many times have we seen him take on Fandango anyway?
Besides, the 33-year-old has always worked better as an annoying, obnoxious heel. His talk show Miz TV also seems something that is far better suited to a heel host. (It's difficult to try and get answers out of unwilling people without coming off as mean and intrusive.)
It'll also be interesting to see how this plays into Miz's promotion for WWE Studios' Christmas Bounty, due to air on ABC Family on November 26 (the DVD comes out the following week).
Perhaps Miz, who has a starring role in the film, can play the snooty, egotistical Hollywood superstar who feels above it all, similar to The Rock in 2003? It would be something different, at least.
