It was all Atlanta in the first half.

The Falcons struck first on a monster 59-yard touchdown run by Bijan Robinson, then closed out the quarter with another Bijan Robinson rushing score, this time from four yards out, to take a 14-0 lead after one.

Atlanta's defense set the tone, forcing New Orleans into a three-and-out, a missed 52-yard field goal and a fumble that gave the Falcons possession at the Saints' 22-yard line.

The Saints finally found their offense to open the second quarter, putting together a quick drive that ended with Alvin Kamara punching in New Orleans' lone score of the first half.

Atlanta answered immediately, with Brian Robinson adding a rushing touchdown before Nick Folk drilled a chip-shot field goal to send the Falcons into halftime with a 24-7 lead.

New Orleans ate up nearly half the clock in the third quarter, but the long drive finished  in just three points

The Saints couldn't slow down Atlanta's ground game, as Brian Robinson powered in for his second rushing touchdown of the night to stretch the Falcons' lead to 31-10 headed into the final quarter.

The Saints opened the third quarter with Kamara's second rushing touchdown, attempting to chip away at Atlanta's lead.

The Falcons answered on the next possession, as Michael Penix Jr. threw his first touchdown pass of the night, connecting with Jahan Dotson for a 31-yard score extending their advantage to 21 points.

A turnover on downs set up a quick three-play touchdown drive for the Falcons—and, once again, Brian Robinson finished it off, extending Atlanta's lead and putting the game out of reach.

Shough's three-yard touchdown pass to Devaughn Vele with 1:13 remaining came too late, as Atlanta kneeled it out for a 21-point win.

Atlanta will host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday for Sunday Night Football, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET. New Orleans will host the Minnesota Vikings earlier that day, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
