Tyreek Hill Injury Update, Earliest Return Date Revealed in New NFL Rumors amid Chiefs' Interest
He was never officially ruled out, but the Ravens were seemingly remaining cautious with the quarterback:
Head coach Jesse Minter said after the game that he hopes Jackson is "in a good spot" and that there was even a discussion of him returning to the game:
The injury seemingly came on a sack just before the end of the first half:
Jackson has played all eight of his NFL seasons with the Ravens, who selected the former Louisville star and 2016 Heisman Trophy winner with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
He's been nothing short of sensational for Baltimore, and his 8.3 adjusted yards per pass attempt and 102.2 passer rating both rank first all-time in NFL history, per Pro Football Reference. Jackson is also a two-time NFL MVP, three-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler.
In 2025, Jackson's season was shortened to 13 games. He missed three contests after suffering a hamstring injury against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4. Jackson also sat against the Green Bay Packers in Week 17 due to a back issue, but he was able to return for the season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Obviously, Jackson's presence is invaluable to the Ravens. Since 2019, which marks Jackson's first full year as the team's starter, Baltimore is just 6-12 without him, per Stat Muse. The Ravens are 73-34 with him.
Baltimore certainly has a capable backup in Tyler "Snoop" Huntley, who led the Ravens to an emphatic 41-27 road win over the Packers last year in Jackson's absence. Huntley, a former Utah star, has played six NFL seasons (five with the Ravens, one with the Miami Dolphins).
