Texas vs. West Virginia: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time and More
Texas travels to Morgantown for a Big 12 battle against West Virginia on Saturday night in Week 11.
This matchup isn't as hyped as some of the other matchups on the schedule this weekend, but don't tell that to the coaches and players preparing for the game.
Mack Brown's squad is out for revenge against West Virginia after the Longhorns were taken down by the Mountaineers last season.
Texas enters the game with a 6-2 record, but more importantly, the Longhorns have maintained an undefeated 5-0 record in the Big 12 so far to lead the conference.
West Virginia, on the other hand, has been beat up all year. The Mountaineers are 4-5 overall and 2-4 within the conference.

Can the Mountaineers Capitalize on Texas's Biggest Weakness?
In Texas's two losses this season, opposing teams have run the ball effectively, controlling the clock and wearing down the defensive front seven of the Longhorns.
BYU famously dropped 550 rushing yards and four touchdowns on Texas in the team's first loss, and just one weekend later, Ole Miss rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns.
Since that time, Texas appears to have tidied up its run defense, but it hasn't faced a strong running team, either.
West Virginia hasn't been a particularly strong team on offense this year, thanks to poor play at the quarterback position. Mountaineers quarterbacks have thrown 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this year, which has a lot to do with the team's 4-5 record.
However, Charles Sims and Dreamius Smith represent a glimmer of hope for West Virginia in this contest. The two running backs have rushed for 1,154 yards and nine touchdowns this year, and if they can get going early on the ground, West Virginia has a shot of upsetting the Longhorns.
Prediction
On paper, this game should be easily won by Texas.
However, quarterback Case McCoy has struggled the past two games, throwing just one touchdown and four interceptions. If McCoy struggles with turnovers in the hostile environment that is Milan Puskar Stadium, then the Longhorns' undefeated Big 12 season will be in jeopardy.
Unfortunately for West Virginia, its quarterback situation is even sorrier than the one Texas has dealt with this year.
The Longhorns should dominate West Virginia when the Mountaineers have the ball, and the Texas running backs will have success on the ground when Texas has the ball.
If this game were contested in Texas, the outcome wouldn't be close. Even at home, however, West Virginia doesn't have a chance.
Final Score
Texas wins 31-24.
