Fulham vs. Manchester United
The last 20 fixtures between these sides have produced 66 goals, per 11v11, and with the attacking threat on show this Saturday, plenty more can be expected.
Manchester United's frailties at the back have been well documented. The champions have conceded 12 goals in their opening nine league fixtures, which is the worst defensive record among those in the top half of the table.
The club, which have prided themselves on solidity at the back over the years, have looked very ordinary at times, and Martin Jol will be hoping to exploit those frailties.
The Dutchman has an abundance of attacking talent at his disposal.
Dimitar Berbatov, Darren Bent and Bryan Ruiz are just a few of those with goals in their locker. Luckily for United, however, Jol hasn't seemed to be able to get the best from his star men this season.
If that trend continues this weekend, then United will be expected to notch their first back-to-back wins in the league this season after a victory over Stoke last weekend.
Even in the 1-1 draw against Southampton, United looked more efficient going forward. If it wasn't for the width of the post, they would have put the game to bed long before Adam Lallana's late equaliser.
Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie have nine goals and five assists between them this season, and if they perform to their potential on Saturday, they will give the Fulham back four a torrid time.
But fans of the Red Devils will be wary. With an unsettled back four and Berbatov and Bent on the prowl, drama is never too far away.
Prediction: Fulham 1-4 Manchester United
Manchester City vs. Norwich City
Manchester City are the overwhelming favourites to pick up all three points against Norwich City, but they won't have to look too far into the past to realise they can't take the Canaries for granted.
On the last day of the 2012/13 season, Norwich shocked the Sky Blues at the Etihad, defeating the home side 3-2. Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping to avoid a repeat this weekend.
Norwich may currently sit at 18th in the table, but it's worth noting the opposition they have faced to date. Four of the Canaries’ five losses have come against teams in the top half of the table—Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Hull City—so they haven't had an easy start to the season.
City will be expected to come away with all three points, however.
Sergio Aguero has looked unstoppable at times this season, netting seven goals and assisting a further four, and with Alvaro Negredo expected to line up alongside the Argentine, City should possess too much firepower for Norwich, as they did against West Ham.
But Chris Hughton will have his team under instructions to test Costel Pantilimon in the City goal.
Reports this week suggest that the Romanian shot stopper could make his Premier League debut after Joe Hart's blunder against Chelsea, per Sam Cunningham of the Daily Mail, and he will be tested against a Norwich side who are not afraid to shoot.
Per BBC Sport, Norwich let fly with 31 shots in their 0-0 draw with Cardiff during the weekend.
Having a new keeper between the sticks tends to cause an air of nervousness among fans, and nerves often breed mistakes. Norwich will be hoping to pounce if the opportunity arises.
Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Norwich City
