Premier League Week 10 Predictions: Complete Picks for Weekend Action
If the first quarter of the Premier League season is any indication, fans are in for an extremely exciting campaign. Arsenal currently sit atop the table, but there's a very small gap all the way back to Manchester United in eighth place.
With so many clubs near the top, the outlook is likely to change several times in the coming months. The Manchester rivals, which aren't off to the greatest of starts, are sure to make a charge, while Arsenal and Chelsea, among others, try to hold them off.
Given the close race that's developing, every match is going to take on a high level of importance because each point a club fails to capture now is one they have to make up later on. Knowing that, here's a look at picks for Week 10, followed by a breakdown of the top matches.

Preview of Top Matches
Newcastle United vs. Chelsea
Chelsea are on a roll. Since the start of October, the Blues have built a six-match winning streak across all competitions with a combined score of 18-3. The form isn't a surprise given the amount of talent on the squad—it just took some time to find it under Jose Mourinho.
On a club with so much depth, it took some time for the high-profile manager to strike the right balance with his players. Now that he's found it, Chelsea have looked unstoppable at times and could move into first place if the results fall their way this weekend.
While Newcastle have enjoyed success on the attack, led by Loic Remy's five league goals, the back line hasn't provided the same level of consistency. That doesn't bode well heading into a match against an in-form Chelsea side ready to pounce on any mistake at the back.
Prediction: Chelsea 3, Newcastle 2
Arsenal vs. Liverpool
Arsenal face a very difficult stretch heading into the next international break. After falling short in a Capital One Cup clash with Chelsea, they have league fixtures against Liverpool and Manchester United with a Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund in the middle.
In two weeks, everybody should have a much better read on exactly how dangerous Arsene Wenger's side is. The arrival of Mesut Ozil provided a noticeable boost, but the Gunners must start performing better against top competition.
The main task for Arsenal on Saturday is finding a way to slow down Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez. The dynamic attacking tandem scored all four goals for Liverpool last week. Their strong form paired with strong road results so far give the Reds a good chance to earn at least a point.
Prediction: 2-2
Everton vs. Tottenham
In recent years, Everton have struggled mightily to find somebody capable of headlining the attack. Nikica Jelavic showed brief glimpses of being the answer, but faded. So securing Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea was huge.
The rising star has found the net five times in as many league matches for the Toffees. It's a luxury Everton haven't enjoyed in a while and makes the club far more competitive, especially in key matchups like the one they face against Tottenham.
Right now, Spurs would fall under the category of quiet contenders. They aren't getting much attention, but have been able to find a nice comfort zone thanks to their added depth. Roberto Soldado and Paulinho are among the additions that have made smooth transitions to bolster Tottenham's chances.
Prediction: 1-1
