Arnold Schwarzenegger has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo, not for his footballing skills, but for his body.

The bodybuilder turned actor turned politician made the statement at the opening of his 2013 Arnold Classic—a bodybuilding contest in Madrid.

Arnie told Spanish radio station COPE, as reported by Goal.com, "He has a fantastic physique. He has some great abs—he looks spectacular. He looks to be in great shape, so it is clear he's a great footballer."

The former governor of California refused to be drawn on whether Ronaldo should terminate his contract with Real Madrid.
