Ludogorets Razgrad Destroys Dinamo Zagreb, 3-0
Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad is off to a nice start having won both of their group games. Thursday's effort was impressive and it had to be satisfying.
It was just in the last Champions League, where Dinamo Zagreb netted two late goals to come from behind and eliminate Razgrad.
This time around, Razgrad ensured two goals wouldn't be enough to undo them. While a couple of defensive blunders by Zagreb helped facilitate Razgrad's scoring, it was still an impressive win. Also, Razgrad has two clean sheets in their two Europa League outings now.
Eintracht Frankfurt Easily Handles APOEL Nicosia, 3-0
Eintracht Frankfurt had a few sloppy moments in the first half, but this team was in full control all match. They have now won their two group contests by a combined score of 6-0.
An own goal from Nektarios Alexandrou was the only scoring of the first half in this match, but Eintracht gained traction as this match rolled on.
In the second half, both Srdjan Lakic and Sebastian Jung added scores to give their side a lead that was not going to be surpassed.
Eintracht was dominant on both ends of the field in this contest and looks ready to dominate going forward.
Tottenham Hotspur Continues to Impress with 2-0 Win
Tottenham has looked fantastic and that certainly includes Europa League play. With a 2-0 win over Anzhi Makhachkala, they have now won both of their group matches by a combined score of 5-0.
Jermain Defoe scored the first goal of this contest. Defoe now has seven goals in four starts for Tottenham and can't even crack the first team. At least not yet:
This depth is going to serve Tottenham very well in this competition.
