Should Arsenal Give In to Robin Van Persie's Demands?
Robin van Persie finally managed a season were he was not wrapped in bandages, and it has benefited greatly for the Gunners.
The Dutch striker has easily been Arsenal's best attacker and it's proven with the 18 goals he has netted this campaign. Van Persie currently leads Arsenal with goals and assists, so it's no wonder he is getting greedy.
It is reported that Arsenal have failed to come to a contract agreement with the Dutch international. Arsenal allegedly offered van Persie a contract which the striker turned down, demanding more money. Arsenal are yet to offer van Persie a new agreement and rumour has it that the Gunners may look to offload their star man.

With van Persie off contract next season, Arsenal face the fact that they may lose their left-footed striker for zilch. If van Persie and Arsenal fail to come to an agreement, the smartest thing for Arsenal would be to sell their goal-scorer.
Arsenal are set to be looking to sell the 25-year-old for as little as nine million which is useful as Wenger only paid three million for van Persie in 2004 when he was bought from Feyenoord. But if Arsenal are serious about selling their frontman, they should, and could, look for more.
Personally, I think van Persie should accept the original deal proposed by Arsenal because we have witnessed what has happened to players who leave Arsenal. I also think that maybe Arsenal should give in to van Persie's demands, as he is a main force and leader in this youthful Arsenal squad.
There is also the point that if Arsenal do sell van Persie and fellow striker Emmanuel Adebayor follows suit, then Arsenal would see their strike department seriously under strength and lacking experience.
Should Arsenal give in to Robin van Persie's demands, or is he getting greedy?
