Is This Algerian Ligue 1 Miss the Worst of All Time?

MC Alger hosted CR Belouizdad at their 76,000-capacity Stade 5 Juillet 1962 on Saturday. The Algerian Ligue 1 match finished 2-1 to the home side, putting them in third position in the league table.

This match probably would have never made it onto your radar had it not contained a mind-blowing incident of double failure. Roll VT...

Upon receiving a routine back pass from a defender, CR Belouizdad goalkeeper Ahmed Walid Chouih managed to make a complete pig's ear of controlling the ball. MCA midfielder Ali Sami Yachir was quickly on the scene to pounce on the loose ball, with absolutely nothing keeping him from slotting into a wide-open net from the edge of the six-yard area. 

Somehow, he missed the target. 

Shortly after his ridiculous miss, Yachir points at the floor in disgust, as if to suggest a rough tuft of grass or a mole hill was to blame for his wayward effort. Unsurprisingly, he didn't score either of MCA's goals that day. 

Is this crime against goalscoring the worst miss of all time? Could any YouTube clip warrant the Benny Hill theme tune more than this double calamity?
