Vanderbilt vs. South Carolina: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time, More
No. 13 South Carolina looks to get back on track on Saturday against Vanderbilt after a 41-30 loss to Georgia in Week 2.
The Gamecocks have not had the ideal start to the season, to say the least. After star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney's conditioning was questioned in the Week 1 win over North Carolina, the Gamecocks were blasted by Aaron Murray and the Bulldogs in Week 2.
South Carolina gave up 538 total yards in the loss in Athens, as Murray passed for 309 yards and four touchdowns, and running back Todd Gurley rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown.
The Gamecocks take on Vanderbilt on Saturday, a more manageable opponent but not a push-over. The Commodores are coming off a 38-3 blowout victory over Austin Peay after losing to SEC opponent Ole Miss in Week 1, 39-35.
Let's take a look at the clash on Saturday in Columbia.

Top Storyline: How Will South Carolina Respond After Loss to Georgia?
The loss to Georgia was deflating, but it's in the past. The Gamecocks must regroup and make the most out of the rest of their season.
Running back Mike Davis said of Saturday's clash with Vanderbilt, via ESPN.com: "We're all looking at it as a statement game. Everyone's angry and we're looking to take it out on somebody. No one's chill, no one's laid back, no one's laughing about it."
While Vanderbilt lost to Ole Miss in Week 1, it's worth noting that the Commodores still posted 35 points. It's also worth noting that Hugh Freeze has already done a tremendous job with the young talent Ole Miss has this season. The Rebels annihilated Southeast Missouri State in Week 2.
South Carolina cannot take Vanderbilt lightly in this one. The Commodores are averaging 36.5 points per contest this season, spurred by quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels and receiver Jordan Matthews.
Prediction: South Carolina 34, Vanderbilt 24
I like the way Vanderbilt has played thus far in 2013, so I think the Commodores will test the Gamecocks on Saturday.
That being said, this game is being played in Columbia, and the Gamecocks are likely to be revved up to not only defeat the Commodores, but destroy them.
South Carolina is the more talented team, with plenty to prove, and the home crowd will only pump up the defense more. I expect Jadeveon Clowney to have a huge game as the Gamecocks go on to a solid victory.
