Juventus vs. Lazio: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview

Tre' AtkinsonJun 8, 2018

Serie A fans will be in for a treat on Saturday when reigning champions Juventus host challengers Lazio at Juventus Stadium in Turin.

It has been merely a week since the Italian rivals last met in the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian Super Cup, but you can be sure that blood will be boiling this time around. And with Lazio having something to prove, Juventus will need to put in a strong performance at home.

This is a match that should attract a lot of attention and deservedly so. With that being said, let’s take a look at what you need to know about this Serie A showdown.

Key Storyline

This meeting will take place just over a week after Juventus thrashed Lazio 4-0 in the Italian Super Cup. With a chip on Lazio’s shoulder entering this one, you can expect both teams to leave everything on the pitch.

According to Football-Italia, Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini recently stated that “Lazio will bring out something more to take revenge for the result, so we will have to be extremely careful. We want to continue winning in Serie A.”

It looks as though the home side are prepared for an all-out war, and that should be exactly what Lazio bring.

Lazio will recognize this as the perfect opportunity to get their revenge against Juventus in Turin. If there is any match to watch this weekend, it has got to be this one.

Prediction

This match definitely won’t be ending in another 4-0 scoreline. Lazio will give Juventus a much more difficult challenge.

But it is still very unlikely that the home side will fall victim to their opponents. Juventus is a much stronger team than Lazio and will likely come away victors yet again.

If you ask me I predict a 2-0 win for Juventus. The defense will hold strong as always, but Lazio won’t be giving chances away so easily.
