Gold Cup 2013 Schedule: How to Watch Final Match on Televison and Online
The United States has been dominant throughout play in the Gold Cup. It is the only team that hasn't lost or drawn with an opponent, and the Americans have outscored the competition 11-2 in group play.
Panama is the only nation standing in the Americans' path to a first-place finish in the tournament. The final match is set for Sunday at 9 p.m ET at Soldier Field in Chicago. Here's how you can catch the action on television and online.
Players to Watch on Both Sides
Landon Donovan, USA
After allowing Chris Wondolowski to take the early spotlight, Donovan has shown and proved he is the most valuable player on the American side.
He played a role in all three goals the Americans scored against Honduras in the semifinal match. The 31-year-old scored two and set up the other tally as the United States won 3-1.
The Americans have shown tons of firepower in the tournament thus far, but Donovan is still the heart and soul of the team.
Nick Rimando, USA
Lost in the shuffle created by the goals the Americans have scored has been their solid defense. While Rimando has been protected by his teammates in front of him, he has also been a solid keeper.
He deserves some of the credit for limiting teams to just two scores. Panama will be the most talented offensive team the United States has faced. This will be the biggest test for Rimando yet.
Manuel Gabriel Torres, Panama
The three-highest goal scorers in the tournament will be in action in the final. Wondolowski, Donovan and Panama's Torres all have five goals during Gold Cup play.
The Americans haven't faced a dynamic offensive presence like Torres, so they will need to show him the requisite attention to keep him contained.
He got a lot of help from teammates in the team's 2-1 win over Mexico in the semifinal, but Panama will probably need all hands on deck to keep pace with the U.S.
