South Carolina Is the Latest School to Show Off Chrome Helmets

The University of South Carolina is the latest college football team to show off some chrome helmets. The Gamecocks' equipment staff shared the following photo on Twitter (hat tip CBSSports.com).

Don't expect to see these on the field anytime soon.  The equipment staff says they will be wearing their traditional white helmets this year.

It seems like everyone is sporting chrome lids these days. Some of the other schools that have shown them off include Indiana, Washington, Baylor and of course Oregon.
