Gold Cup 2013 Schedule: TV Coverage and Live Stream Info for Saturday's Action
The fate of Group C could very well be decided by the end of Saturday's 2013 Gold Cup matches.
In the group stages of international tournaments, the second match is probably the most important one. It allows you to either solidify yourself atop the group, or you can still recover after a poor first match.
The United States and Costa Rica are in control of the group right now. With each getting a win in their first match, they can both secure passage to the knockout stage with a win. That would leave the two countries at the bottom of the table—Cuba and Belize—desperately needing a win in their third match to have any hope of getting through.
There are plenty of compelling storylines to keep football fans glued to their televisions.
Here's the schedule for Saturday's group stage matches.
| Date | Match | Time (ET) | TV | Live Stream |
| Saturday, July 13 | United States vs. Cuba | 3:30 p.m. | FOX | FOX Soccer 2Go |
| Saturday, July 13 | Costa Rica vs. Belize | 6 p.m. | FOX Soccer | FOX Soccer 2Go |
United States vs. Cuba
This should be an easy win for the United States. Cuba will be much tougher opponents than Belize, but they don't have enough to pull off the upset. The US should be able to cruise to an easy victory.
The Americans looked very good in their 6-1 win over Belize. They controlled the game and were very lethal in the final third. Chris Wondolowski was the headliner as he recorded a hat-trick in the first half. If the United States puts in a similar performance, they should win by at least two goals.
Cuba, on the other hand, didn't have much luck against Costa Rica. They couldn't keep possession and too often let Costa Rica get forward.
It will be interesting to see if Jurgen Klinsmann tweaks his lineup at all. Stuart Holden looked very good when he came on as a sub and might warrant a start. However, Kyle Beckerman does offer a much better defensive option, which could be good in trying to prevent Cuba from getting anything on the counter.
Klinsmann will be hopeful Wondolowski and Jose Francisco Torres put in similar performances, as they could really help out in World Cup qualification down the road.

Costa Rica vs. Belize
Belize looked horrid against the United States. Against what is a pretty good Costa Rica side, they can't afford to fall asleep like that again.
Belize came into the Gold Cup as a bit of an unknown quantity. They proved exactly why they're unknown in that loss against the US.
On the other side, you've got a Costa Rica team on which many of the key players ply their trades in MLS or Saprissa in the Costa Rican first division.
Up top, Jorge Luis Pinto relies on the combo of Alvaro Saborio and Jairo Arrieta, both of whom MLS fans will know very well. Arrieta scored the second goal of the game for Costa Rica in their 3-0 win over Cuba.
If Costa Rica play up to their potential, this should be an easy game. They've got more talent than Belize and much more organization on the pitch.
