LeBron James' Extra Pair of Arms Explains Otherworldly Talent
Credit LeBron James' court vision, speed or shooting ability all you want, but we now know the key to his success is his extra pair of arms.
Grantland's Steve McPherson uncovered a dirty little secret about King James during his Game 5 triumph over the Indiana Pacers:
Sure, some of you might claim that is just a Pacers defender behind James trying to get his hands on the ball, but you would be wrong. The only possible explanation is that the magic of photography uncovered something we should have assumed all along.
Thankfully, McPherson continues with a mini-scouting report on the extra pair of arms:
Watch out, Pacers—you have two dinosaurs to deal with now.
It seems we have grown accustomed to saying James is "coming off another great game." The best in the league had yet another remarkable night on the court Thursday, one the Heat needed to get past a passionate Pacers squad.
Coming off a Game 4 loss and the fallout from flopping fines, James put his team on his back once again and provided 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a 90-79 win in Miami. It was the kind of night when everything seemed to go King James' way.
Yes, we could proclaim his strength, tenacity and talent are the reasons, but we have done that already. We were all wrong anyway. James is a beast because he plays with twice as many arms as other players. That's pretty unfair if you ask me.
