Alan Shearer Is the Man to Rebuild Newcastle for the Future
Alan Shearer must stay beyond his term this closing season if he's to see to it that Newcastle returns to prominence one day.
All that can depend on a number of factors, such as the audacious owner Mike Ashley, the quality of players, and the loyal Toon Army.
Newcastle will be relegated this season, but from a retrospective outlook, this is by far the best thing to happen to the club.

It is the best thing to happen to this club because now fans can finally look forward to seeing the club make an effort to actually build up the team instead of the usual process of making a slew bits of patchwork here and there and hoping that club survives again to another turbulent campaign.
Newcastle needed to be relegated...this will give the club the opportunity to make the necessary changes in how it runs itself and the sorts of talent the club should look forward to investing in.
Shearer has an opportunity to usher in a new era at St. James Park, where he can call all the shots and use all available resources at his disposal.
He can fallow in Alex Ferguson's footsteps and start by making a drive for recruiting top quality young lads into the academy.
He can start by decimating the team as it is (that means shedding the team of crap players such as Owen, Martins, and Guitierrez).
He can go as far as to rename the club like Toon Army FC or simply remove "United" from the official club title and simply call the club "Newcastle FC" or "Newcastle Upon Tyre" if he likes.
Newcastle FC, in my opinion, sounds a lot better than Newcastle United FC. Simply put it, there's too many teams in England with a title that included the dreaded word "United" in them.
It's time we started re-invigorating ourselves mates.
The club has ambitions and a proud tradition so let's see where they start from there after this season is completed.
Stay Tuned...
