Like Wigan Athletic in England last weekend, Atletico Madrid upset the odds to win the Copa del Rey in dramatic circumstances at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Miranda's header, from a Koke corner, gave Atletico an extra time lead, before the focus switched to Thibaut Courtois -- the Belgian saving brilliantly from Gonzalo Higuain and Mesut Ozil.

There was still time for Cristiano Ronaldo and Gabi to get sent off, but not time for Madrid to find the goal that would have denied Atleti their historic night.
