Liverpool vs. Everton: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
The latest edition of the Merseyside derby holds plenty of importance for Everton. The Toffees are still holding out hope for a long-shot European berth with three matches to go, but have no margin for error heading into Sunday's clash with rival Liverpool.
While Everton are just six points behind Tottenham, Spurs will hold a match in hand. A loss to Sunderland a couple of weeks ago looms large, but they aren't out of contention yet. All the Toffees can do is win out and hope for some help along the way.
Liverpool made a run of their own toward Europe during the second half of the campaign. A slow start proved too much to overcome, though. Now the Reds can play the role of spoiler to keep their rivals from earning a berth.

Although every Merseyside derby attracts added attention, Everton's determination to earn all three points on the road should bring some extra intensity to this one. Here's a look at the viewing information for the match, followed by players to watch and a prediction.
Where: Anfield in Liverpool, England
When: Sunday, May 5 at 8:30 a.m. ET
Watch: Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Deportes
Live Stream: Fox Soccer 2Go
Liverpool Player to Watch: Daniel Sturridge
The Liverpool attack was expected to struggle, perhaps mightily, without leading goalscorer Luis Suarez. Instead, Sturridge spearheaded a dangerous offensive effort that saw the Reds net six goals against Newcastle. The talented England international had two.
Sturridge was a terrific midseason addition. He's scored seven goals and assisted on three more in 11 Premier League matches since arriving from Chelsea. It doesn't come as a surprise that he's breaking out after being given a more prominent role. Talent has never been a question.
After last weekend's outburst, Everton should have a good idea of how Liverpool plans to attack without Suarez. Sturridge must find a way to fight out of what's sure to be tight defensive pressure to lead the Reds' offense yet again.
Everton Player to Watch: Nikica Jelavic
Jelavic is one of the main reasons Everton weren't able to maintain their spot in the top five. Last season, he scored nine goals in 13 league games after joining the club from Rangers. This season, he's only found the net seven times in 34 matches.
Early on, the Toffees were able to overcome his lack of production thanks to Marouane Fellaini. The physical midfielder was an offensive surprise in the first couple of months. As his production faded, nobody stepped up to fill the role.
The good news for Jelavic is he can erase the memory of his struggles with a strong finish. Three matches of good form that put Everton in position to earn a European spot would change the entire outlook on his season. Scoring against Liverpool would be a good way to start.
Matchup to Watch: Pepe Reina vs. Tim Howard
A battle between two veteran goalkeepers could very well decide the match. It should be a hard-fought, low-scoring derby, which puts a lot of pressure on the men between the posts. One mistake would probably be enough to change the result.
Reina has been in good form lately, earning three clean sheets in his last four starts. None of those came against a club the same caliber as Everton, though. He can expect to see more quality chances in the derby and Liverpool needs him to rise to the occasion.
He'll be looking down at Howard, who's matched Reina's run of three shutouts in four appearances. The American keeper knows his offense has been struggling as of late and has played a key role in keeping them within striking distance of Europe. That should continue in the derby.
Prediction
Everton 2, Liverpool 1
