Transfer Rumours: Players Each EPL Team Will Make a Push for This Summer

Manchester United has secured another English Premier league title and the 2013 season is fast nearing a conclusion. 

As final spots in the league table continue to cement themselves, much of the conversation in regards to English club football is focused on the upcoming summer transfer window.

There are, of course, tons of rumors in regards to which players are switching clubs, where they might end up and how they should fit in wherever they are going. 

Its a great time to be a fan, as each day more names get associated with different clubs across the world.

The following list looks at every current Premier League team and reports one player that each club is said to be going after this summer during the transfer window. 

Certainly, nothing is known to be set in stone just yet, as there are still matches to be played. Regardless, reports are simmering all over Europe. 

Comments are always welcome, particularly in terms of how some players might fit at new clubs.

Arsenal: Maxime Gonalons

According to Metro Arsenal is discussing a potential transfer of Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons. 

The Gunners have eyed Gonalons for some time with the intention of adding strength to their midfield.  The report linked above indicates that Arsene Wenger has asked the French club to name its price. 

This would be a critical addition for Arsenal should the deal go through.  Gonalons, a French international, is considered one of the better holding midfielders in world football.

Aston Villa: Mathieu Flamini

This report from the Mirror indicates that former Arsenal man, Mathieu Flamini, is interested in a potential move back to England. 

Currently plying his trade in Italy for AC Milan, Flamini is said to be looking for a two-year contract.

The midfielder has also been linked with Southampton.

Chelsea: Andre Schurrle

This piece from the Mirror suggests that English powerhouse Chelsea has targeted German forward Andre Schurrle as a player it is interested in signing this summer. 

Roman Abramovich has expressed a desire to sign the talented footballer before the start of this campaign, as well. 

The Blues would benefit from Schurrle's strength and versatility up front. 

Everton: Joleon Lescott

The Express recently published an article suggesting that current Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is being eyed by a number of teams this summer, including his former side, Everton. 

Should England qualify for the World Cup in Brazil, Lescott's desire to be included in the squad is one of the motivations behind his moving on from City. 

For Lescott, the minutes he's received this season simply have not been enough to cement his spot for the national team. 

Fulham: Nikolay Mihaylov

It looks as if the goalkeeper position is one spot that Fulham is hoping to upgrade this summer during the transfer window in the form of Bulgarian international Nikolay Mihaylov.

If indications from this piece in the Mirror are true, Fulham will hope to nab Mihaylov from Dutch side FC Twente to replace Mark Schwarzer for the long haul.

Currently in the last season of his contract, Mihaylov could be a financial fit for the Cottagers.

Liverpool: Loic Remy

Liverpool looks to be in the market for help in its forwards corps with QPR striker Loic Remy on the club's transfer window wishlist. 

Indications from the Express are that the Reds are hoping Remy can provide offense in the wake of the suspended Luis Suarez.  The Uruguayan will miss Liverpool's first six domestic matches next season. 

With QPR officially relegated, Frenchman Remy should be in consideration for many a Premier League team. 

Manchester City: Edinson Cavani

Edinson Cavani is one of the top strikers on the planet so it's no wonder that one of the richest clubs in world football, Manchester City, is interested in his services. 

This article published in the Mirror states that City believes it is the favorites to ink Cavani in what would be a massive summer transfer. 

Big-name clubs like PSG and Real Madrid are also reportedly in the mix for the Napoli goalscorer.  

Manchester United: Radamel Falcao

The 2013 Premier League champions, Manchester United, are looking to re-stock their already stacked lineup in the form of Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao. 

This article from The Guardian reports that scouts representing United recently traveled to check in on the Atletico Madrid marksman.

Falcao would add more heavy artillery to United's already dangerous attack.  

Newcastle United: Anders Lindegaard

This piece from the Express reports that current Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is on his way out of Manchester United and is in the transfer plans of Newcastle United. 

Unhappy at losing the starting job to David de Gea, Lindegaard will seek more minutes elsewhere. 

Norwich City: Nathan Redmond

This article published by the Mirror indicates that Norwich City has eyes for Birmingham winger, Nathan Redmond. 

Redmond would add pace on the flank Norwich manager Chris Hughton. 

The 19-year-old would be a steal for Hughton, who has history with Birmingham as former manager of the midlands club. 

Queens Park Rangers: Phil Neville

According to this article from The Sport Review QPR manager Harry Redknapp believes that Phil Neville would be an excellent signing for his club. 

The current Everton man has confirmed he is on the way out for the Toffees and is said to be mulling his future footballing options.  

A player as established as Neville will be difficult for QPR to get a hold of as its recently confirmed relegation from the Premier League could make the club a less tempting proposition for the former Manchester United man.

Reading: Billy Sharp

This piece in the Mirror indicates that Billy Sharp is a target for new Reading manager Nigel Adkins.

The Southampton forward could be the first signing for Adkins. 

Sharp has been on loan with Championship side Nottingham Forest this season and is aiming for a Premier League return, which could be achieved with the recently relegated Royals. 

Southampton: Scott Sinclair

Indications from The Sun point to Southampton having an interest in Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair. 

Sinclair has only two starts for Manchester City this season. 

A result of his limited minutes could imply that a move in the summer is imminent.  

Stoke City: Jonjo Shelvey

Jonjo Shelvey has fallen out of favor for Liverpool and is a player that Stoke City is considering trying sign this summer.

As the Mirror indicates in this piece here, Shelvey could serve as a solid replacement for Charlie Adam in the midfield at the Britannia Stadium.

The price might be right, too, in what would be an intelligent and efficient signing for the Potters. 

Sunderland: Danny Rose

Danny Rose has done well to fit in for Sunderland this season and reports from the Metro point to the club's aforementioned desire to acquire Rose on a permanent basis from Tottenham, his parent club.

Considered by many to be one of Sunderland's most consistent players on the season it is clear the club desires to keep him in the side. 

He would be an excellent long-term solution at left-back. 

Swansea City: Romelu Lukaku

This article from the Mirror reports that Swansea City is looking to work out a loan deal for Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is currently on loan with West Bromwich from Chelsea but is hoping to play football in a European competition as soon as possible.

With Swansea set to compete in the Europa League next year, this could be attractive for the Belgian. 

Tottenham Hotspur: Christian Benteke

This article from The Guardian states that the Belgian, Christian Benteke, is of interest for Tottenham Hotspur during this summer's upcoming transfer window. 

The Aston Villa striker is a physical presence on the pitch and could be critical should Gareth Bale leave as many expect he will.

West Bromwich Albion: Sam Byram

This piece from the Express and Star points to West Bromwich Albion keeping tabs on Leeds full-back Sam Byram.

Apparently looking for long-term solutions at full-back, Byram is being considered as a potential option for the future. 

West Ham United: Nikica Jelavic

For West Ham United it's Nikica Jelavic from Everton who appears to be entering its transfer window radar. 

If indications from this piece in the Daily Post are true then Jelavic could be adding depth up top for the Hammers next year. 

Struggling with Everton, it makes sense that Jelavic could use a change of scenery next season. 

Wigan Athletic: Thibaut Courtois

Wigan Athletic is among a host of teams interested in the loan services of Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.  

This piece in The Sun suggest that Chelsea are looking for Courtois to gain Premier League experience before challenging Petr Cech for the starting job.

He has recently spent time on loan at Atletico Madrid.
