Manchester City FC, Uefa Cup Response!
From a fan's perspective, our team did us proud last night against Hamburg but, this is no reason to relieve the pressure.
Although our team played like they should for themselves as much as us City fans, it is not nearly enough, they should take the same to all other teams we come up against until the end of the season, including Man United.
Mark Hughes can think he is safe all he likes but I do not think he is as safe as people think, if he fails next season then it will be his neck on the chopping block. I myself would like Hughes gone, but it seems we will have no choice but to stick with him. Sure I am tired of changing managers, but if they are not good enough then there is good reason.

Like Mark Hughes said, a manager that is over comfortable can easily become a problem and pressure like this keeps him on his toes.
Okay Mr Mark Hughes, our squad showed they will fight for us, now you fight for us and achieve 7th place in the Premier League.
On a great note ELANO IS BACK woohoo, Robinho is taking Mark Hughes' challenge with both feet and Ireland is the ever unstoppable—this will be a great boost for Hughes but can they keep it up?
Martin Jol stated after the match that they deserved to win but I disagree, Hamburg tried to park the bus and hit us on counters, they were damn lucky to get the away goal and some of their players were disgraceful, especially the time-wasting in the dying minutes.
In the second half they had nothing to throw at City, flat and bland as Hamburg were, Elano took the game to them and they were lucky to go through.
The German media and Hamburg fans owe us an apology for calling us arrogant but we all know that is never going to happen so we will have to try catch them in Europe in the future and wipe the smug smile off their faces.
This is one step in the right direction for Manchester and Manchester City, let's just hope this was not a flash in the pan because i am tired of saying "Typical City".
Mark Hughes, step up and be counted—make sure our players do not fall back into that typical pit of average performances.
My Man of the Match: Elano Blumer
My Player of the Year: Stephen Ireland
Micah Richards wins my bling trophy for biggest flop.
Richard Dunne is past his best, what a pity.
Wayne Bridge, had it all to do without a solid four midfield so I reserve judgement for now.
