Biggest Game of Arsenal's Season?

reece scaneApr 7, 2009

Looking at the picture, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has his eyes on one thing, guidng arsenal to the champions league. It will be a big ask from everybody but i think arsenal can do it.

The two teams have contested in a european in this competition before in 2006, Arsenal won the first leg 1-0 thanks to a Kolo Toure effort and then they drew 0-0 Spain which meant Arsenal went through to the final.

Will the same happen again? are arsenal going to have a good end to a dodgy season? We will have to wait and see.

Arsene Wenger has stated arsenal are super outsiders but insists he does not care. Wenger said, "We are super-outsiders to win the trophy—we can accept that."

"I believe we have the strengths to deal with the challenge we face but let's first get through this challenge and try to get rid of Villarreal."

Team lineups:

Villereal team news:

Joseba Llorente is their top scorer with four goals, and all four have been netted after coming off the bench That is the most of all players in this season's CL campaign. Last season, Dutchman Ryan Babel scored a record five goals as a substitute for Liverpool.

Pascal Cygan and Robert Pires have played for Arsenal before they joined Villarreal in 2006. Pires played 63 CL matches for the Gunners, scoring 11 goals.
