Chelsea vs. Arsenal: Live Stream Info for EPL Clash

Patrick ClarkeJun 7, 2018

Arsenal will make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday to take on fellow Premier League powerhouse Chelsea in a pivotal EPL clash.ย

The Blues took down the Gunners 2-1 at Emirates back in September, and will look to fend off a hungry, revenge-minded club this weekend. Arsenal's attack has been disappointing for the most part this season (with the exception of its recent FA Cup wins over Swansea City), but Chelsea has experienced struggles of its own at home (Blues have won just two of seven home games since Rafa Benitez took over as manager).

But with kickoff not far away, here we get you set with everything you need to catch Sunday's EPL clash of the titans.

Will Arsenal's Rediscovered Firepower Show Up?

Arsenal has technically scored just one goal in its last two Premier League matches (an own goal from Southampton on New Year's Day), despite netting seven in a victory over Newcastle in the match prior to those two.

The Gunners scored three goals in two FA Cup matches with Swansea City this January, but the club's offensive success has yet to translate to EPL play since the start of the new year. So, it's safe to say that Arsene Wenger's squad will need to step up in the final third on Sunday, in order to crack Chelsea's defense and potentially earn a point or three on the road.

Arsenal has put away 15 goals in 11 EPL away matches this season, so scoring on the road isn't a foreign concept to the Gunners, just a complicated one at times.ย

Given the circumstances and the need to produce points quickly, it's time for Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott (fresh off signing a new deal with Arsenal) to step up and deliver the offense the club so desperately needs this weekend.

Chelsea Set for EPL Sweep of Arsenal

The Blues have been better than Arsenal on the pitch and on the table this season, scoring more goals and allowing fewer over the course of the Premier League season. I look for that Chelsea defense to once again emerge as the difference on Sunday, icing an already cold Arsenal attack.

Yes, Benitez's squad has been underwhelming at home as of late, but the chances seem greater that Chelsea will figure out how to perform at Stamford Bridge rather than Arsenal putting all the pieces together offensively for 90-plus minutes.

I give the edge to the better side playing with a clear-cut advantage on Sunday. Look for Chelsea to come away with a 2-1 win this weekend.
