Wilfried Zaha: Breaking Down Top Potential Destinations for Young Striker

Young Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is a hot commodity these days, as England's top clubs are lining up to court the phenom.

Zaha has netted five goals in 25 appearances with the Eagles, and at just 20 years old, there is no telling how great he can be. He's already got excellent speed, good finishing ability and—as you can see from the video below—amazing footwork.

Every team would love to have a player with Zaha's talent, which is why many high-profile clubs are seeking his services. The following teams have the best chance of reeling in Zaha, whose price tag is £10 million.

Arsenal

Arsenal may have an advantage over the other clubs, because according to Zaha himself, he is a fan of the team.

Unfortunately for Zaha, the Gunners are expected to ink Theo Walcott to a long-term extension (h/t The Guardian). Walcott's game is very similar to Zaha's, and there may not be room for both of them on the Arsenal roster.

Of course, Walcott has been maddeningly inconsistent throughout his career. It wouldn't be a shock if he fell into a slump after signing his contract. If Arsenal wants a little insurance for Walcott, Zaha's presence could be exactly what they need.

Manchester United

Manchester United has been looking to replace Nani for some time, and Zaha would be the perfect option. The Red Devils are also reportedly the front-runners for the England international's services, according to ESPN.co.uk.

The club's current success is certainly a factor in Zaha's thinking, as United is in first place in the EPL. They have 17 wins, one draw and just three defeats. Meanwhile, Arsenal is sitting in sixth place at 9-7-4.

Zaha should also be enticed by playing with legends like Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie. By competing against the world's best on the practice field and watching them in games, Zaha would learn what it takes to be a truly elite player.

Tottenham

The dark horse here is Tottenham, who will be the first team to begin negotiations with Palace (h/t Daily Mail). Although I would be surprised if they landed Zaha, Spurs can definitely make a strong case.

Tottenham is currently sitting at third on the Premier League table at 12-3-6. It is still 13 points behind United, but it's possible for it to catch Manchester City, who are just six points ahead of the north London club.

Tottenham also has some world-class talent on the roster, including fellow England international Jermain Defoe. They don't have the prestige of clubs like Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea, but Tottenham could be an intriguing option for the young star.
