2012 College Football TV Schedule Week 13: TV Listings for the Upcoming Week
Two straight weeks we've talked about the No. 1 team in the country potentially losing to its opponent. And for two straight weeks that team has lost. So, with that being said, the new No. 1 team in the country, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, heads to Southern California to take on USC on Saturday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Could lighting strike for a third straight time?
You'll just have to find out when you sit on your couch to see if the Fighting Irish can punch its ticket to the BCS National Championship game.
So welcome back to your weekly television guide. As always, I will be your guiding light through this stuffing filled week of college football.
You'll notice that this week games start on Tuesday, with a day off on Wednesday before picking up on Thursday for three straight days-and-nights of football.
However, this year the Thanksgiving games are missing two huge rivalry games because of schools leaving for a new conference.
For starters, there will be no Backyard Brawl between West Virginia and Pittsburgh. The first meeting was back in 1895 with the last game in 2011 being the final time, for the foreseeable future, that these teams will meet.
And secondly, there will be no Lone Star Showdown between Texas and Texas A&M. This one would have been an amazing game to watch on Thanksgiving night, as both the Longhorns and Aggies have stellar offenses.
Plus there'd be a BCS berth up for grabs for the winner of this game.
Instead, we will have to hope that these two teams will meet up in this year's Cotton Bowl, instead of on Thanksgiving Night.
Alright that's enough venting about colleges moving conferences and destroying traditions. Let's get into this week's action.
Be sure to check your local listings before each game since your local listings may change what channel some games may be on.
