College Football Week 10: Latest Betting Line Updates

With Week 10 of the college football regular season already underway, the action of the BCS race continues to heat up across the nation.

Here is a closer look at some of the biggest Saturday matchups, underdogs who will cover and more spread information for the rest of the Top 25 teams in action.

Lock of the Week

Pittsburgh at No. 3 Notre Dame

Over/Under: 45, Spread: Notre Dame (-17)

While there is little doubt that the Pittsburgh Panthers are better than their 4-4 record this season, the team hasn’t been able to get all of its pieces working together. When they travel to South Bend in Week 10, the disorder will reveal itself once again as the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame dismantle the Panthers.

Notre Dame boasts the second best defense in the entire nation (allowing an average of just 9.9 points per game), and they will be out in force Saturday. Even with Pitt getting 17 points to start the game, the Fighting Irish see an opportunity for perfection and will not waste their chance.

Take Notre Dame giving 17 points with confidence. This is Week 10’s biggest lock.

Upset Special

No. 12 Oklahoma at Iowa State

Over/Under: 52.5, Spread: Iowa State (+12)

There are many gamblers who see this as a lock for the Oklahoma Sooners, but that is far from the case. With the Iowa State Cyclones coming off a successful but tough stretch of games against the Big 12 Conference’s best teams, the Sooners are far from a lock.

With Oklahoma coming off a devastating loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Iowa State coming off a huge win over the Baylor Bears, this game has upset special written all over it.

Take Iowa State plus the 12 points, but watch out for an outright Cyclones win Saturday.

Underdog That’ll Cover the Spread

Arizona State at No. 11 Oregon State

Over/Under: 55.5, Spread: Oregon State (-3.5)

As great as the Oregon State Beavers have been so far in 2012, they are facing one of their toughest tests when the formerly ranked Arizona State Sun Devils travel to their Pac-12 rivals Saturday night.

The Beavers are predicated on their pass offense, but the defensive secondary is where the Sun Devils thrive. If Oregon State can't solve the tough Arizona State defensive unit early, the home team will find itself down quickly and unable to mount a comeback.

Take Arizona State plus the 3.5 points.
