Ball Boy Flops Horribly After Goalkeeper Kicks Ball off His Head

Sure, this is just a ball boy, but he also happens to be a world-class flopper. 

Big Lead Sports posted a video that should have all sports fans good and annoyed as the fine art of flopping leaks over to the sidelines. 

However, I was far more annoyed with the goalkeeper than I ever will be with the ball boy who took forever before he decided to hit the ground in feigned agony.

Goalkeeper Gaston Sessa of second division Boca Unidos was not happy at the end of a match when two balls came on to the pitch for his goal kick, so he blasted one back in the direction of the ball boy.

Per the report, Sessa was eventually red-carded for his actions. 

What is unclear is whether he received the red card because the ball boy flopped and the ref finally decided to give out a card, or if he would have been reprimanded regardless. 

The ball boy will catch grief for flopping worse than Manu Ginobili bumping into a table, but that's not the point. 

This kid went out there for what I assume are low wages and ran all over fetching balls. He was then lucky enough to get blasted in the face by this adult—all because there were two balls on the pitch. 

When Sessa threw the second ball well over the kid's head, a line was crossed. It seems the kid was willing to accept a ball to the dome, but there was no way he was going to walk an extra inch because of these shenanigans. 

I would have dropped quicker than Blake Griffin in a mosh pit too. 

I seriously love how the kid looks at the tossed ball and just says, "screw it, I'm taking a nap."
