New Mexico State vs. Auburn: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
One team is guaranteed to earn its second win of the 2012 college football season this Saturday afternoon in Alabama, when the SEC's Auburn Tigers (1-7) host WAC basement dweller New Mexico State (1-7) inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The Aggies have lost seven straight since, defeating Sacramento State in their season opener last August and are winless on the road this season. Meanwhile, 2010 BCS national champion Auburn has dropped its last five overall.
Expect sloppy football throughout as both hopeless squads attempt to build some momentum heading into what's sure to be a long offseason.
Here we get you set with everything you need to know for this Week 10 non-conference showdown.

Key Storyline
The biggest talking point heading into this weekend's game is the dreadful seasons that both Auburn and New Mexico State are having. A combined 2-14 through the first two thirds of the year, neither will get to a bowl game this winter and will likely struggle with recruiting this offseason.
Auburn's poor season has come as more of a surprise than New Mexico State's, however. Just two years ago, the Tigers were national champions, and now, they have one win heading into the month of November.

What They're Saying
There isn't a lot being said about either team other than jokes. But as far as the Aggies are concerned, the amusing comments are much harder to find. Gantt Graham is one of the few who have attempted to attach humor to New Mexico State's poor season:
"Tailgating at New Mexico State is something every college football fan should experience twitter.com/GanttGraham/st…
— Gantt Graham (@GanttGraham) October 27, 2012"
If this picture is actually of a New Mexico State tailgate then that tweet instantly went from hilarious to sad.
In the spirit of Halloween, plenty of those across Twitter are taking holiday-related shots at Auburn and its terrible season. Check out this cheap shot from Not Jerry Tipton:
"Scariest Halloween story ever: What if Kentucky had no basketball team, and they were just stuck with football?!?!(Then they'd be Auburn.)
— Not Jerry Tipton (@NotJerryTipton) October 28, 2012"
If Auburn fans aren't laughing, they're likely crying.
New Mexico State Player to Watch
New Mexico State quarterback Andrew Manley can't be blamed for the Aggies' dismal campaign in 2012. The 6'3" sophomore has thrown for more than 2,000 yards and 14 touchdowns this season while leading New Mexico State's 41st-ranked aerial attack.
Look for Manley to team up with fellow sophomore Austin Franklin through the air on Saturday in Auburn. He's competing fewer than 52 percent of his passes on the road this season and will need his receivers to step up in order to find success against an SEC defense.
Auburn Player to Watch
Senior wide receiver Emory Blake has been a rare bright spot for the Tigers in 2012. Blake leads the team with 35 receptions for 531 yards and three touchdowns this fall.
The Austin, Texas, native has caught at least two passes in each of Auburn's first eight games this year, and he has surpassed 100 yards receiving in three of eight games, including last week at home against Texas A&M.
Key Matchup
The key matchup on Saturday afternoon will be Auburn's secondary vs. New Mexico State's passing attack. Will the Tigers defense show up at home? Or, will Andrew Manley and the Aggies rack up a couple hundred yards through the air and find the end zone with ease?
Although Auburn is allowing nearly 30 points per game this season, I believe its defense will stand tall at home Saturday and put together a solid, but not great, performance against an offense that is averaging less than 14 points per game against WAC opponents.
On the Hot Seat
No one in Auburn misses Cam Newton more than Tigers head coach Gene Chizik. Since Newton left for the NFL after the 2010 season, Chizik is a disappointing 9-12 with Auburn and just 4-10 against the rest of the SEC.
Sure, he led the program to the top of the mountain two years ago, but if he loses to New Mexico State at home this weekend, he will no doubt be looking for another job at season's end.
Prediction
The Tigers have lost three straight home games, yes, but the Aggies have lost seven straight altogether and haven't won a football game since August. Though I'm not shocked or even surprised anymore when Auburn loses, I can honestly say that I would be stunned if they fell at home to New Mexico State this weekend. After all, they are favored by more than three touchdowns.
Auburn 24, New Mexico State 13
