According to talkSPORT, Jose Mourinho is looking to bring Gareth Bale to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Apparently, the partnership both clubs signed up for on completion of the Luka Modric saga gives Real Madrid a first option on "certain players," but the Welsh winger has no intention of forcing a move through.

Anzhi Makhachkala Want Wayne Rooney

Sir Alex Ferguson could be up for another fight to keep his strikers soon because Anzhi Makhachkala have expressed their interest in Wayne Rooney (via The Sun).

Director Roberto Carlos is quoted as saying:

The defender is in the last year of his current deal at Old Trafford, and Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to significantly slash his wages. West Ham and Allardyce have expressed their interest in advance:

Shifting focus slightly, English Premier League clubs will be delighted to hear that Victor Wanyama is in the midst of a contract feud with Celtic (via BBC Sport).

"Victor informed Celtic the contract offer fell short of his expectations," his agent Rob Moore informed STV.

"There were a number of aspects that fell short—he turned it down."

The Bhoys were hoping to improve the Kenyan's terms in order to keep him around.
