Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

As many of you will have no doubt seen, in the past week we have added a new page to the site - our new Betting page.

For a long time now we have been mulling over branching out into betting as we know that many have a flutter once in a while, plus we fancied our chances at providing much better tips and content then the competition out there.

There is also the economic factor. Running 101greatgoals is a pleasure, a joy and a lot of fun. But it also incurs real costs and bills need to be funded. In this regard we were looking to add a new string to our bow which would not only offer more great content for you, our readers, but also offering us the chance to get some much needed lolly in the coffers.

So here is what we came up with. The new Betting page, in partnership with 888.com, is aimed to deliver on two main fronts. The first, as you may have seen, is to offer match previews in which we aim to provide concise and accurate predictions ahead of the big games each week. But we know this isn’t enough. We know that to earn your respect we have to go the extra mile.

And so, we have chosen to take on the challenge. We wont just sit back barking out nonsense opinions without committing ourselves via our pocket. Rather, we have decided to put our money where our mouth is and see if we can’t win money for real.

You think you know more about football than us? We read the comments. We know some of you think you know better. This is your chance to prove it.

We will be regularly documenting how our betting quest is going, telling you who we plan to back, how much we are willing to commit to our convictions, and (hopefully) finish up by boasting about the size of our winnings.
