Biggest Locks in Saturday's Slate of College Football Games
Week 7 of the college football season should be as exciting and unpredictable as the first six weeks have been.
We even have some juicy matchups in Week 7, including four games in which top 25 teams face off against each other.
They may not be the biggest matchups, especially compared to Week 6, but competitive games will be played.
Who knows? A potential upset or two always seems to be in the making on any given Saturday.
However, there are certain teams that you know will come out victorious in the art we call football.
Without further ado, here are the four locks of Week 7.
North Carolina vs. Miami
1 of 4Miami has played well against ACC teams, but the same can't be said against teams outside of the conference.
North Carolina on the other hand is coming off three consecutive victories. However, they don't match up well with Miami.
With that terrible loss to Notre Dame in Week 6 still lingering, look for the Hurricanes to continue their inter-conference dominance against a solid North Carolina team.
Prediction: Hurricanes
Illinois vs. Michigan
2 of 4Michigan is coming off a dominant 44-13 victory over Purdue, and will now look to shut down Illinois.
While running back Fitzgerald Toussaint struggled to run the ball, Denard Robinson was fantastic in picking up the slack.
Robinson, who looked like his old self, rushed for 236 yards on the ground. He was also solid in the air, after a terrible performance against Notre Dame in which Robinson threw for zero touchdowns and four interceptions.
Michigan returns home, and should make easy work against Illinois.
Prediction: Michigan
Oklahoma State vs. Kansas
3 of 4Oklahoma State should trample all over this Kansas defense.
And I can't imagine any way Kansas can even keep up offensively against the explosive Oklahoma State offense.
To make matters worse, Kansas is coming off four consecutive losses.
Last game? Kansas got side-swept by Kansas State, 56-16. Imagine what Oklahoma State will do to this Kansas defense.
Prediction: Oklahoma State
Boston College vs. Florida State
4 of 4After a shocking loss to NC State, Florida State will look to overpower a Boston College team coming off three consecutive losses.
A 17-16 loss to NC State will motivate Florida State to come out strong in the early parts of this game.
On the other hand, the Eagles are reeling after a three-point loss to Army last week. BC shouldn't be able to keep up with the Seminoles offense.
Watch out for a blowout early.
Prediction: Florida State
