Viral Video of the Day: Sunday Side Plays in Underpants to Attract New Sponsor

It's a simple problem with an outrageously simple solution.

No sponsor, no kit.

And what to do about it?

Why, play in underpants, of course!

Playford FC, a Sunday league team from Suffolk, United Kingdom, played a match recently in which all of its players wore only their underpants.

The stunt served as an attempt to attract a new sponsor for the club's new kit.

The video, which includes the LMFAO song "Sexy And I Know It," appears above. In a word, it's brilliant.

What's more, it's the B/R Viral Video of the Day for Monday. Congratulations, fellas, those new kits are just around the corner. We can feel it.

Speaking of feel, the guys of Playford must have felt a bit more of the ball while not wearing shirts or shorts. But don't worry. It was all in good fun.

Here's what 27-year-old defender and club captain Richard Jones told BBC News:

"We wanted to do something that would make us stand out to potential sponsors. We're hoping the video might help. It was good fun to make, although slightly odd."

Odd indeed, but it's sure to do the trick, if you ask us.
