6 Elite Recruits Who Could Choose to Join Reuben Foster at Auburn

Reuben Foster, according to some, is the best pure player in the nation for this recruiting cycle. Foster made a shocking switch earlier this month when he backed off his pledge to Alabama and switched to Auburn.

Foster is a headliner type of prospect who is more than just hype. He is an uber-talent that many players will be excited to play with and the type of player who can attract other elite recruits to come join him.

For this read, I'm going to give you six elite prospects who could choose to flock to The Plains to play with Reuben Foster.

6. Tarean Folston, RB

Folston is a shifty RB prospect from Florida at 5'9" and 185 pounds. He's super quick and elusive with the ball, which can also factor in the return game.

Auburn is in the hunt, per 247Sports.com, but there is competition. Tennessee is thick in the race, as is South Florida and South Carolina.

Selling the RB on playing with Foster would certainly boost the Tiger's chances.

5. Alvin Bailey, WR

Bailey is a 5'11", 175-pound WR from Florida who is very wide open. However, he is starting to narrow things down. Among his schools of keen interest include Auburn.

Per Scout.com, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama and Michigan are a couple of other big offers Bailey is weighing. He could take a trip to The Plains during this summer or in the fall officially.

Look for Gene Chizik to really promote the growing changes to the Auburn offense and, of course, playing with a superstar among other values Auburn has to offer. 

4. Demarcus Walker, DL

Now, I've always believed that it was a two-horse race with Walker between Alabama and Florida. Yet, Auburn has entered the picture along with Tennessee.

Per Scout.com, a decision will be made likely on August 3. The 6'4", 280-pounder is very scheme versatile and could join a big time DL incoming to Auburn, which also features Carl Lawson and Dee Liner.

We'll know what Walker is going to do next week.

3. Tyrone Crowder, OG

From North Carolina, Crowder is an elite OG prospect who stands at 6'2" and 325 pounds. He's very physical and quick of the snap, playing massive and stout at the point of attack.

He plays with a great mean streak on the field and has good agility for a big man. He's a hot commodity on the trail and Auburn appears to be in the race.

According to 247Sports.com, Crowder is keen to Clemson, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia right now. 

2. Derrick Green, RB

A big, 6'0", 225-pound rugged bell cow back from Virginia, Green has a long list of offers and schools on his trail. However, Auburn is among them and he even took a visit to The Plains last week.

Green's family came with him and, based on a report by Scout.com, the trip to Auburn went very well. Green spoke to Gene Chizik and offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler during the visit.

He also spoke to Dee Liner, Carl Lawson and, of course, Reuben Foster. 

1. Montravius Adams, DT

From Georgia, Adams is a 6'3" DT who is close to 290 pounds and plays with excellent snap quickness, strength and pursuit speed. 

He's a playmaking three-technique type who could fit very well at Auburn. Scout.com reported that Adams is friends with Reuben Foster and took his fourth visit to Auburn last week.

His mother, family and girlfriend came with him as he spoke at length with Foster, the coaching staff and other people around the program. 

Clemson and Georgia are two other schools to watch out for in this race, but Auburn looks pretty good.
