Big 12 Media Days 2012: Schedule, TV Info, Live Stream, Participant List & More

Ben ChodosJun 7, 2018

There will be new and familiar faces at the 2012 Big 12 Media Days, but all will have their times in the spotlight to preview the season ahead.

Do not expect another fiery rant from Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy, as these events never bring out much emotion.

Instead, media members will get a chance to interact with head coaches and high-profile players. It will be a light-hearted affair with most interviewees doing everything they can to avoid saying something of substance.

Still, there will be captivating personalities at the podium and major story lines beginning.

Charlie Weis will be attending the event as the Kansas head coach for the first time and will surely provide an honest and interesting interview.

Baylor’s Art Giles usually has a few entertaining quips in store for the media, and he will surely use them if he is repeatedly asked about moving on without Robert Griffin III.

The conference’s three top quarterbacks will all make appearances across the two days. West Virginia’s Geno Smith will be discussing his 31 touchdown passes, while Landry Jones will surely answer questions about his Heisman hopes.

Kansas State’s Collin Klein burst onto the scene last season, and he too will get grilled about the upcoming season.

Every form of media will get their crack at the coaches and players during the event, and everyone involved will be working long days. The full-detailed schedule of events can be found here, courtesy of Big12Sports.com.
