Saint-Etienne Target Bolton Wanderers Forward David N'Gog to Strengthen Attack
In an effort to move up the last few spots in order to gain a European competition spot, AS Saint-Etienne is looking to England for reinforcements. Reports from Click Lancashire and the Daily Star claim Saint-Etienne is trying to lure Bolton striker David N'Gog to France.
According to reports, Bolton manager Owen Coyle has rejected the approaches of the Ligue 1 side. Coyle is keen on keeping his top players at Bolton this season.
The 23-year-old Frenchman started his career with Paris Saint-Germain. He transferred from PSG to Liverpool after the 2008 season. He ended up at Bolton this past season and became a regular for the Wanderers.

The rangy striker has good strength and is very quick. He uses movement well to get position on defenders. Not a high tally scorer, he works well to cause problems for defenses. It is this type of skill set that has teams taking a look at N'Gog.
Adding N'Gog to Saint-Etienne would help take the pressure off of stud forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. N'Gog's strengths would make him a solid fit with Aubameyang's abilities. N'Gog's presence would free up more space for Aubameyang, allowing him to become an even more dangerous threat.
Adding N'Gog to Saint-Etienne would also provide them cover if Aubameyang is tempted by a big money move to a larger club. All in all, it would be a good addition for Les Verts, but only if they can get Bolton to agree.
