SEC Media Days 2012: Schedule, TV Info, Live Stream, Participant List & More
No conference in any collegiate sport is more competitive than SEC football. Not only does it feature plenty of intense rivalries, but it usually possesses some of the nation's best teams and is a breeding ground for future NFL stars.
So it's no surprise even secondary events like the conference's media days are covered heavily. It's a chance for coaches and players to lay out their expectations from the upcoming season and maybe even start a little bit of trash talk.
The first media day took place on Tuesday with South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier and commissioner Mike Slive among the high-profile speakers. But, just like everything else related to SEC football, it's a big event with two days left to go.
There are full schedules on both Wednesday and Thursday, which gives football junkies a chance to catch up with their favorite team or some of their biggest competition before things really start picking up in the coming months.
That includes many of the SEC's biggest names. Alabama coach Nick Saban, LSU coach Les Miles and Auburn coach Gene Chizik will all take to the podium over the next few days. As always, the diehard fans are expecting a lot and the coaches will let everyone know where their team stands.
Let's take a look at all the important information for the marquee event, including a list of speakers on the final two days and where you can catch all of the action. It should be interesting to say the least.
