World Football's Biggest FAILs of the Week
No Euro 2012? No problem.
With Euro 2012 finished, the world football FAIL supply has slowed to a trickle. But that doesn't mean the FAILs have stopped all together.
In this week's edition of the B/R World Football's Biggest FAILs of the week, we have a Freudian slip, some unwarranted trash-talking, some post-match complaining, a duped Spanish club and an angry David Beckham.
Read on for all the details.
Freudian Slip
1 of 5Alan Shearer was trying to say that Spain's players have had an unbelievable amount of success.
What he actually said was much funnier.
So, then. Fail? Or big-time win?

Trash-Talking FAIL
2 of 5Talking trash is an art reserved for those who can back it up.
German publication Bild tried, and the German national team was sadly unable to back them up in the semifinals.

Injustice?
3 of 5Spain defeated Portugal in a penalty shootout in the Euro 2012 semifinals. Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo didn't take a kick during the shootout.
Ronaldo, you see, was scheduled to go fifth, but the shootout didn't last that long.
Afterwards, Ronaldo was filmed saying "injustiça."
Injustice, eh? Why didn't you just shoot first, then?
Have Sheikh, Will Invest
4 of 5Spanish club Getafe was hoodwinked by a conman recently, a conman who was promising to make a €10 million investment in the humble club.
So why did Getafe's officials fall for it? Apparently the man was dressed as an Arab sheikh.
Does that qualify as reverse racial profiling?

MLS Melee
5 of 5English midfielder David Beckham revealed last week that he had been left out of Great Britain's Olympics team.
Not long after, Becks got himself involved in a ridiculous melee during an MLS match.
Oh no, Dave. Not the mascot!
(By the way, that "injured" player sure did get up quickly, didn't he?)
