Viral Video of the Day: St. Pauli Launches New Kit with Mind-Bending Video
Don't be fooled by the muck and grime—this is a new kit being launched by German Bundesliga 2 club FC St. Pauli.
This is an amazing video you're going to want to see.
The first thing you probably notice about all this, besides the fact that the uniform clings to unfortunate places, is that everything here is awfully messy.

No matter.
With some slick production tricks and the dulcet tones of the Black Keys in the background, this kit is about to be unveiled in a brilliantly dramatic way.
Think of the video of Coldplay's "The Scientist," change the theme to football, employ heavy doses of slow motion and throw in a bunch of dirty, stinky-looking liquids.
Bam—now you have one of the coolest kit unveilings ever.
Not convinced? Maybe you should read up on the history of FC St. Pauli. The whole club is a bit eccentric, to put it mildly.
Situated in Hamburg's red-light district, St. Pauli is a club whose supporters wave the skull and crossbones flag at all matches. That being said, instead of an atmosphere friendly to hooligans, the club fosters a friendly, party-like culture.
For instance, in 2006, the club hosted the made-up FIFI Wild Cup for unrecognized footballing nations like Greenland, Zanzibar and Tibet. St. Pauli themselves competed as the Republic of St. Pauli (per the New York Times).
Sounds fun, no? It's all part of the culture of St. Pauli, as is this new kit, which I really want to buy suddenly.
What about you, readers? Have you been won over by the clever marketing or are you unimpressed?
