Cristiano Ronaldo and Agent Jorge Mendes Help Boy with Cancer

Nuhazet is a 9-year-old boy from the Canary Islands, and he has been suffering from brain cancer for many years. His family was told by doctors that there was no point in trying to cure the disease, as it had spread to parts of his spine. As a result, the young boy's parents were instructed to make the most of his life while he is still alive. 

The family was planning a trip to Madrid to see the La Liga title celebrations. His cousin Nati began calling the Pequeño Valiente Association to set up a meeting between the players and Nuhazet; the association is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by cancer. She began to speak with Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, who confirmed a meeting with the Portuguese star.

Cristiano paid for the family to stay in the hotel adjacent to the Santiago Bernabeu. They were driven to Ronaldo's hotel, and once he saw Nuhazet, he laughingly said, "So, are you going to say anything." After a lengthy photo session with the whole family, he promised to dedicate a goal to him if he scored, and Cristiano did just that. 

Nuhazet and his parents ate at a nearby restaurant with the Portuguese agent, then attended the season closer of Real Madrid against Mallorca. Along with sitting in Cristiano's private viewing box with his girlfriend, Irina Shayk, the boy received the winger's signed jersey after the match. The next day, Mendes asked Florentino Perez to personally call the doctors at Madrid hospital. 

A new experimental treatment from the United States was given to Nuhazet with all expenses covered by Ronaldo and Mendes. He is continuing his long fight with cancer but still celebrated his ninth birthday on June 16.
